DAY 1, 2 & 3

Vumbura Plains Camp, Vumbura Concession – or Jao Camp, Jao Reserve. ABOUT VUMBURA PLAINS / Luxurious and inimitable, Vumbura Plains seems to float on a sea of waving reeds situated as it is in the midst of a large floodplain. Home to a diverse mix of wildlife, due to variety of water and dry land habitats, water-loving lechwe can be seen splashing through the reeds, while rare sable antelope graze in the dry savannah in the distance. Year round, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog hunt the plains, which are often filled with buffalo and other plains game. DAY 4, 5 & 6

Abu Camp, Abu Concession. ABOUT ABU Imparting an air of opulence amid the bush setting, the light, airy villas of Abu Camp echo the curved, grey hides of the Abu Herd: a unique group of pachyderms that you are invited to interact with, seeing the splendid world of the Okavango through their eyes. Over and above the camp elephants, the area hosts other wildlife, from herds of lechwe, zebra, giraffe, tsessebe and even the rare roan antelope, to spotted hyaena and leopard. DAY 7, 8 & 9

Mombo Camp, Mombo Concession, Chief’s Island.ABOUT MOMBO Not for nothing is Mombo known as “the place of plenty.” Situated at the northern tip of Chief’s Island, the largest landmass in the Okavango, the camp’s elegant design and spacious, luxurious tents complements its magnificent surroundings. DAY 10

Following breakfast and an early morning game drive, you will be taken to the airstrip for your charter flight back to Maun.
