“TIMING IS EVERYTHING”

Malawi has two distinct seasons, with the summer rainy season being from November to April. The winter months are drier and down on shores of the Lake, the weather is still sunny and warm and perfect for those beach days. Months of January and February are the mid summer months when the rainy season is at its peak and the temperatures are very hot and humid. The cooler months are from May to September. The lush green summer months are from November to April also a great time to visit ! May and June are the cooler months however still green. Game viewing is best during the hottest time of the year and the dry season when the animals are forced to hang out at the waterholes …you will have a way better chance of spotting a wide variety of wildlife during the winter / dry months .
