They are hewn from local materials, with natural coral stone walls, makuti thatch roofs, carved beams and reed shuttered windows. A wholly uninhabited island paradise, ensuring total privacy and exclusivity for our guests, and surrounded by the magnificent pristine waters of a marine sanctuary. Azura Quilalea is located in the pristine Quirimbas Archipelago, a scattering of beautiful unspoilt islands in remote northern Mozambique. It’s an absolute paradise for lovers of marine life, and uniquely in Mozambique there is superb snorkelling and world class scuba diving available straight off the main beach at our house reef. INCLUDED All meals including main beach dinners, Local beers, spirits, selection of house wines, Soft drinks, tea & coffee, waters, Sunset cocktail of the day. These undisturbed, untouched dive sites are abundant with a variety of fish and corals and offer a range of depths and reef topography to suit beginner and experienced divers alike. Fishing, a wonderful selection of reef fish for beginners and advanced alike. Azura has a fully equipped fishing boat with local guides. Range of professional tackle for both beginner and enthusiasts. Tag and release policy on protected species. Kayaking and snorkelling. Turtle Beach Picnic (Praia da Tartaruga), Turtle Beach is the most beautiful beach on Quilalea Private Island, with soft powdery white sand and views out to the pounding surf of the Indian Ocean, it’s a great place to relax and spend a few hours while enjoying a picnic and refreshments.
